Neil Armstrong

Summer Learning Journey, Week 1 Activity 5

I had to imagine that I was Neil Armstrong. Yup the Neil Armstrong! Amazing right?

If you don't know who Neil Armstrong Is I will explain:

Neil Armstrong is a Man... Well not any ordinary man, He was the first human being to land on the moon. His first words when he stepped foot on the moon was "That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for man kid.

  1. Kia ora Marta. My name is Mahuta and I am a year 7 student that attends Kawakawa primary school. I am in the class Nga Rau Rangatira. I really enjoyed your post it was interesting. Your poem was great and at the end of it you just topped it off. However maybe you could attribute your image so people don't think you took it off the internet. Other than that great blog.
    Blog you later:)

  2. Kia ora Marta,

My name is Taleisha and I am a year 8 student commenter for the Summer Learning Journey. I was given the job by Tayla who is another commenter. She will comment on your blog posts at some stage :)

Wow. Your poem is really cool. You definitely put a lot of work and effort into this. I'm not a very good poet but I know that this is an extremely good one. You should be proud of your work :)

What do you think you would say if you were the first person to land on the moon?

I hope to see more posts from you later on these holidays :)

  3. Kia Ora Marta,

What an amazing poem.I could picture what was happening in my head and I could understand exactly how you would feel. Do you think you would ever want to go into space? I think I would! I think it would be an amazing experience to explore space and to visit the moon.

Just to let you know that the Summer Learning Journey staff take some time off from working during the Christmas and New Year period so you may not get as many comments on your blog posts but we will continue commenting when we all get back to work on January 6th. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your whanau.

Blog ya later ( in 2020!)
