We are learning to: Summarise a movie we watched in less than 50 words.

This movie is about to fith graders Jess and Leslie. Jess came from a poor family and got bullied at Lurk Creek school everyday and Leslie was a new incomer who stands out in the crowed and basically good at everything and the bullies didn't like that. Jess and Leslie were neighbours and loved running. One day they started racing each other and making longer conversation, they even started becoming closer and looking out for each other.  Jess didn't like her when she started but then they formed a friendship because they were both shut out form Society. Jess is a bright boy but with all the put downs in his class he couldn't really do much until Leslie helped him out a bit.

Physical Education

For P.E we have done many different fitness. If it is a rainy day we are inside doing exercise or dance. If it is a sunny day we can do whole school sports. Today we did lacrosse. It was very irritating in the beginning but then it was enjoyable in the end, so much I wanted to carry on. I learnt how to pick up the ball in lacrosse which to me is a very big thing. Here are some captured images.   

Epro 8 Sorta

 We are learning to: Communicate and work well with others to solve a problem.

During Epro8 I got pulled aside to go to the principals office to stamp 500 books. Why? Because me and one of  my friends were play fighting. What type of play fighting? We were slapping each other... softly - but probably not a good decision with the equipment and around t.v etc... I think.

Well anyways, I got sent away and it was boring but fun at the same time. As I was stamping the books I was saying 'Welcome to my shop, how may I help you? NAHHH NEXT!' That's what I was playing while stamping. I finished and got let out back to class. 

My friends were happy to see me back and we carried on with one of the tasks we had to do. We built a supermarket trolley and then it didn't work because the wheels were not screwed on properly. We tried 100 times to put it back together but it didn't quite work! I don't have evidence, but I do have images of them trying to build a dog kennel.

We packed it up and our favourite music came up so we danced! My teacher was unhappy with that and growled us. We got sent back to the principals office all together this time. We had to write a whoooollleeeee book about a game on a piece of paper. That was basically my whole day! It was alright because I was with my friends.

"Probably could of made better choices" - is what my teacher was thinking...another day, another dollar.

This is a recording of me reading 'Hectors Bike' I discovered that I actually liked that book. Next time I will read a book that is a level higher.

As I watched this video I discovered that I was fidgeting with my fingers and I kept looking outside. 

Next time I could learn a new type of Mihi and use that to earn more points.
